Students Work with Project Jericho
As a part of The Center's 2009 Community Internship Program, two students, Anna List '10 and Maggie Muir '11, had the opportunity to work with Project Jericho, a local arts based after school program.
While working with Project Jericho they became self-proclaimed "non-profit warriors" and had the opportunity to work with teachers, artists, performing arts staff, college volunteers, the Clark County detention center, Job and Family Services, Clark State Community College, and local businesses so that projects such as the mural or the summer arts camp could be accomplished.
"These past 8 weeks have been absolutely incredible. I have grown as a person and as a professional. Working with Project Jericho was an absolute privilege." Anna says of the internship experience.
